The Lite FM Family has been very busy the past few weeks! We’ve been all around the DFW area spending time with our great listeners and  community. Here are a few pics from our recent adventures!!

Despite yucky weather, the Lite Crew, Tony Zazza, and the wonderful sales people at Southwest Kia in Mesquite, hosted an AMAZING spontaneous cookout!! Check out our cool photos from the rainy party !!

I am really excited about this event. You know Mike is a dear friend and his foundation does amazing work for at risk children here in DFW. I am really thrilled that The Stand in Dallas on McKinney Ave. has chosen his foundation as the beneficiary for this event, not to mention it’s going to be a blast. We all have seen those hot dog eating contests on TV and if you are one who thinks you can do it, it’s time to put your money where your mouth is. Mark the calendar for June 2.

I love swapping recipes with people and being exposed to new ideas. Sometimes things turn out better than others, but I really love it when something new comes along and instantly becomes a new favorite. I wasn’t sure if I would like this one, but was I wrong!

Tomorrow is Cinco De Mayo and my favorite Holiday outside of Christmas. I LOVE everything there is about Mexican food, culture, beverages, travel, etc. I am so excited that we have gorgeous weather and wanted to share something special to celebrate!

It’s no secret, I LOVE Food! Growing up in California the “Food Truck” was something we became accustomed to.  And now in recent months the trend has really started to catch fire here in Texas. So much so there is a Food Truck Fest coming to DFW!

Spring is upon us and Easter is right around the corner. You know I love my dogs. Mac, Ally, Cooper and Belle are all the entertainment one needs to smile throughout the day! I know they are as excited as I am about a very cool evening happening tomorrow in Southlake! It’s Three Dog Bakery’s 4th Annual Easter Begg Hunt benefiting the Duke and Oliver Foundation which is a local charity that provides assistance for foster pups and their families.
