I got the chance to see some of the pilots for the fall season on CBS, and I have some new faves. This could be a very good season for CBS
The remake of Hawaii 5-0 is really really good. Action packed. Great cast. Alex O’Laughlin is a great Steve McGarrett. Scott Caan is Danno. Daniel Day Kim is Chin Ho. Great first episode
Blue Bloods with Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlburg is off to an excellent start. It’s about a family of police officers in New York City.
The Defenders — Jerry O’Connell and Jim Belushi as defense lawyers. … Kinda “Practice-like”. Interesting casting, and Jim Belushi is a real surprise. Enjoyed the pilot
Mike and Molly — This one had some laughs. Premise is ok The leads are both members of Overeaters Anonymous, and they meet. It’s their love story.
